Here's a new piece! I suppose I was thinking steampunk, but ended up with a lot of metal and chains, and an unusually cool palette, given my recent yen for warm colors and metals:
Started this one over the weekend, and finished it today - for such a simple piece, it gave me quite a lot of design trouble. I'm glad it made up its mind what shape it wanted to be!
This one is still in progress. It started this morning as an asymmetrical bib necklace, but changed itself several times. I like it where it is now, but there's still some "proofreading" to be done, like making sure the chain segments are even, and whether or not I'll keep that filigree piece. I so wanted it to be in this necklace, but looking at it on the bust, I think it needs to go to a different piece.
This one I did late last week. I suppose less really is more. An art glass pendant I've had for *years* finally found a suitable home on bright orange ribbon from Ornamentea. This included a chain strand with a green fabric bead which worked *on the bead board*, of course, but felt sour when I draped it on the bust. The ribbon shall fly solo!
